Job Description
3. Support the team in managing external law firm relationships and ensuring efficient use of legal budgets and resources.
4. Provide corporate law and governance advice as required.
5. Promote early engagement with the Legal team on new corporate matters, projects, and emerging risks to enable timely legal input.
6. Drive legal awareness, knowledge sharing, and collaboration within the Legal & Secretarial function and across the wider business.
7. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of legal developments, and identify emerging requirements and opportunities to inform proactive legal solutions.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Legal Counsel should have:
8. UK Qualified with a minimum of 4 years PQE
9. Extensive experience in providing corporate legal support within the financial services sector.
10. Strong expertise in contract law, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.
11. A proven ability to manage complex legal matters effectively and efficiently.
12. The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
