Job Title: Medical Writer, Medical Communications Agency
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000, depending on background & experience
Location: Central London, 2 / 3 day a week in office
My client is one of the leading Medical Communications Agency and they are looking to onboard a few more Medical Writer as they continue to grow.
This role, you will play a pivotal part in developing high-quality content that not only communicates complex scientific information clearly but also aligns with commercial strategies and marketing objectives. Your writing will support a variety of projects including promotional materials, educational content, and digital campaigns, helping to elevate their clients' brands in the healthcare marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create compelling, audience-tailored content for a range of projects, including promotional and educational materials, digital content, and scientific publications.
* Collaborate closely with account managers, marketing teams, and subject matter experts to ensure that all content reflects current scientific understanding and meets client objectives.
* Understand commercial needs and integrate strategic insights into your writing to drive client engagement and product awareness.
* Ensure all materials comply with regulatory and industry standards while maintaining scientific accuracy and integrity.
* Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging medical information to inform your writing and contribute to strategic discussions.
* Support client presentations and pitches by providing relevant, persuasive content.
The ideal candidate will come with the following experience...
* A strong scientific background, educated to a minimum degree level in life sciences (MSc/PhD advantageous
* 1–2 years’ experience in Medical Communications preferable
* Experience working agency side is ideal
* Preferably with a focus on commercial, promotional, or marketing content within a medical communications agency or pharmaceutical environment
* Excellent attention to detail and critical analysis of scientific data
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
You’ll be working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment while being exposed to some of the biggest and well-known names.
The salary is ranging from £35,000 - £45,000 depending on the candidate’s experience & background. They are based in Central London; however, this role offers hybrid working with the successful candidate only needed to go into the office twice a week.
