ABOUT THE ROLE:

Leading on the appointment and negotiation of sub-contract packages
*
Managing sub-contractor accounts from procurement through to final account
*
Acting as the main commercial point of contact with clients
*
Preparing and submitting valuations and variations
*
Producing monthly cost reports aligned with project budgets
*
Working closely with Contracts Managers and site teams to ensure successful project delivery
*
Identifying and resolving cost-related issues in a timely manner
*
Carrying out other commercial duties as required

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
*
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
*
10+ years' post-graduate experience, ideally across residential and commercial projects
*
Strong estimating and tendering capabilities with proven ability to manage variations and subcontract packages
*
Sound working knowledge of standard forms of contract (JCT/NEC/PWC)
*
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify risks and opportunities
*
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
*
Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and work independently
*
Proficient in relevant IT software and systems
*
Full, valid UK driving licence
