What you'll be doing
Using meticulous care, you will ensure that all products are accurately weighed, counted, labelled and packaged according to the specific customer requirements.
You will be working quickly and efficiently together with our nights warehouse team to ensure all customer orders are ready for dispatch deadlines helping to deliver the best possible service to our customers.
You will maintain a 'clean as you go' work environment to safeguard our excellent food hygiene standards.
This is a full-time contract, 20 hours per Week.
Based at: Freshview Foods Ltd, Unit 2 Lowfield Drive, Wolstanton, ST5 0UU.
Start and finish times: 7.30pm - until 6am or 6pm-4.30am - flexibility is required. Thursday and Friday evening - 20 hours per week.
Salary: £14.30 per hour
Your responsibilities
· To take ownership of each customer's order to ensure the correct quantity and required quality of produce are packed and labelled ready for delivery to the customer.
· To ensure that any shorts or missing items are clearly identified using the correct procedure.
· To have a strong product knowledge in all the different categories we sell.
· To ensure that work areas are kept clean and tidy, by following our Food Hygiene and Health and Safety policies.
· To achieve the company standard in pick rate and minimal errors.
· To accurately complete paperwork following the correct processes.
· Assisting with other Warehouse duties as and when required.
· To report any quality or stock issues to management.
Skills & experience
· You will need to work to tight deadlines and have an eye for detail.
· Strong communication skills.
· Experience working with fresh produce would be desirable.
· Experience working in warehouse distribution or similar.
· Excellent time management, punctual and reliable.
