Behaviour & Engagement Mentor – Specialist Provision (Full Time)

A specialist provision in Bury is seeking a full-time Behaviour & Engagement Mentor to support pupils who require additional help with behaviour, attendance and engagement in education.
This role is well suited to someone who is confident working with young people who may have disengaged from school and require a consistent, supportive approach.
The Role
You will work closely with pupils across the school day, supporting them to re-engage with learning and develop positive behaviours.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting pupils with behaviour, engagement and emotional regulation
* Implementing structured routines and behaviour strategies
* Working 1:1 with pupils to build trust and consistency
* Supporting reintegration into classroom environments
* Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience within SEMH, behaviour or youth settings
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to remain calm under pressure
* Proactive and solution-focused approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
