Job Duties: Setting and operating manual turning machines to manufacture precision components to specification Working from engineering drawings and technical instructions Producing high-quality components to tight tolerances Inspecting finished components using measuring equipment to ensure accuracy Carrying out machine adjustments and basic maintenance as required Ensuring all work is completed in line with quality and health & safety standards Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient work area Working collaboratively as part of a skilled engineering team Job Requirements: Previous experience operating manual turning machinery essential Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience working to tight tolerances within a precision engineering environment Confident using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, and gauges Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a growing business Shifts & Salary: 40 hours per week (typically 7:00am 3:30pm, with flexibility) Many team members currently work 6:30am 3:30pm Monday to Thursday Early finish on Fridays (typically 6:30am 12:30pm) Circa £18.50 per hour (dependent on experience) This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manual Turner looking to secure a long-term position within a growing and progressive company. xxuwjjq If this is something you feel suited for and would like to know more, please apply today and well be in touch.
