Project Manager – Rail Civils | London | £400 per day (Outside IR35)

The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading Rail Civil Engineering contractor, taking responsibility for the delivery of a major rail civils programme in London. You will oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring safety, quality, and commercial targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
Take full ownership of HSEQ performance across all project sites.
Lead, motivate, and mentor project delivery teams to achieve milestones and company objectives.
Manage planning, resources, and subcontractors to deliver works on time and within budget.
Produce and present progress reports, proposals, and client documentation.
Oversee risk assessments, method statements, and activity plans.
Provide clear leadership and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, senior leadership, and regional teams.
Monitor and report on commercial and financial performance.
About You
Proven experience as a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager within rail, civil engineering, or bridge projects.
Strong leadership skills and experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
Solid financial acumen with a track record of managing project budgets.
Qualified in Civil Engineering or Construction (HNC/HND/Degree).
Current PTS.
