Shift: Panama days and Night
Salary: £54k + 5% bonus+ Benefit
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Multi-Skilled Mechanical & Electrical Shift Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to support production operations by ensuring equipment reliability, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, plant, and facilities.
Diagnose and repair faults using root cause analysis to minimise downtime.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Work safely by applying sound engineering principles and safe systems of work (e.g., isolations, Permit to Work, Risk Assessment).
Provide technical expertise and mentoring to operators, apprentices, and junior engineers.
What We're Looking For
Strong experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to diagnose and repair equipment and identify long-term improvements.
Knowledge of PLC systems and willingness to learn and adapt in a changing environment.
Commitment to safety and quality standards.
