The Role
* Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 depending on specialism
* Taking on additional leadership responsibilities in line with the TLR (e.g. Key Stage Lead, curriculum responsibility, or subject specialism lead)
* Supporting curriculum planning and development within the department
* Driving high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment
* Supporting colleagues through collaboration and sharing best practice
* Maintaining high standards of health and safety within workshops
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A degree in Design & Technology or a related subject
* Experience teaching DT at secondary level
* Strong subject knowledge in one or more DT specialisms
* Experience contributing to curriculum development or leading an area within a department
* High expectations for pupil engagement, behaviour, and progress
