Role Summary
We’re urgently hiring a Registered Manager to lead two children’s homes in Ilford, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is a key leadership role for someone passionate about making a difference, with the ability to drive compliance, improve outcomes, and put children first.
Responsibilities
* Lead two children’s homes ensuring high standards of care and safety for young people.
* Drive regulatory compliance with Ofsted, The Children’s Homes Regulations & Quality Standards.
* Promote safeguarding, ethical decision-making, and effective team leadership.
* Develop and implement service improvements to achieve positive outcomes for children.
* Collaborate with staff, families, and external agencies to coordinate support.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People).
* Minimum 2 years’ management experience in a children’s residential setting.
* Strong knowledge of Ofsted, Children’s Homes Regulations & Quality Standards.
* Confident in safeguarding, decision-making, and team leadership.
* Must hold or have held a URN (Unique Reference Number).
