Lead Software Engineer – Hybrid (1–2 days a week, Stockport) – £70–80k

The business is scaling quickly and the engineering function is still being shaped. You’ll be leading on architecture decisions, setting standards, and mentoring the team — while staying close to the code. It’s a genuine step up into leadership with the freedom to do things properly.
What you’ll be doing:
* Lead on technical design and solution decisions.
* Stay hands-on with .NET and JavaScript/TypeScript builds.
* Coach, review and guide engineers to raise the standard.
* Help drive clean, scalable SaaS platform development.
* Work closely with product and leadership to shape direction.
