Farm and Site Technician (Cover)
We are seeking to appoint a Farm and Site Technician on a casual relief contract basis. The work is not guaranteed and hours will vary through the school year and may be outside of normal school hours, including evening and weekend work. Work hours will be agreed between both parties with as much notice given as possible.
Under the direction and guidance of the Facilities Manager the post holder will support the Facilities and Farm Teams by providing holiday and casual cover. The duties will include:
* Site logistics and security
* Day to day management of the Farm, including caring for animals, care and harvesting of produce, supporting with Farm related clubs
* Facilities maintenance support
The role will involve ensuring the facilities always adhere to our high expectations agenda and provide a productive working environment for staff, students and wider stakeholders.
The successful candidate will ideally have some previous experience in farm work or site maintenance, however full training will be provided.
