About the Job
The Production Engineer will support a wide range of manufacturing activities, and will support the in-house radar testing and assisting the design engineering team.
Key Accountabilities
* Maintain accurate product specifications, test, and build records in the PLM database
* Draft and implement Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) accurately
* Provide technical information to support component and source approval
* Support radar testing processes
* Liaise with manufacturing partners and component suppliers on technical issues
* Advise on potential supply challenges, including component obsolescence
* Assist with electronic and mechanical assembly tasks when required

Experience/Qualifications
* Understanding of electronic and mechanical engineering processes
* Familiarity with technical documentation and drawings
* Experience using PLM systems
* Hands-on experience with electronic (including PCBA) and mechanical assembly
* CAD skills are advantageous
* Full UK driving licence
