Corporate Lawyer – Sport World Championship – Soho, London
Our client, a Sport World Championship, have retained us for the search of a Senior Corporate Lawyer – Ideally with sports or Rights Holders exposure.
We are looking for someone who is prepared to hit the ground running and to “get stuck in” on a wide range of legal work supporting senior management, commercial, media/content and communications teams. This is a fast paced and dynamic start-up environment, and the role involves close collaboration with the business and senior management team interaction, daily.
Responsibilities: Corporate & Company Law
1. Autonomous management of all corporate and company law matters, acting as the company’s in-house legal lead on these issues.
2. Drafting written board resolutions to approve Board reserved matters under the Shareholders' Agreement (SHA).
3. Thorough understanding and application of an SHA and Articles of Association (AOAs), ensuring alignment with business operations and governance.
4. Interpretation and implementation of the company’s internal policies, especially the Delegation of Authority (DOA) policy regarding revenue/expenditure thresholds.
