Overview
The Implementation Specialist provides project and technical support to customers adopting new or new-to-them Cybersource products from the Acceptance Solutions unit of VISA. After a thorough training program on Cybersource products and services, you'll be a part of a global team working with small and large customers to define, shape, and implement their technical project. The role will rely on your creativity and developer acumen to troubleshoot and solve our customers' business challenges, developing robust solutions using the breadth and depth of the Cybersource product portfolio. Our team understands merchant, acquirer, and scheme payments inside and out. We also support your career growth within Visa as you succeed in your role; our IS team applies their client knowledge to a wide range of roles within Visa.
Responsibilities
* Get hands-on with our products! There is no better way to learn how it works
* Use your Cybersource product knowledge to scope, refine, and shape the clients project deliverables. The Implementation Specialist can enable and inspire our clients
* Collaborate across the business to identify and develop additional opportunities, as they arise. That may be within the client's environment but it could be in ours
* Continue to develop your knowledge - the payments space is ever changing and the skills we need are evolving
* Create trusted advisor relationships with our clients - set realistic expectations and keep their priorities close to hand
* Be a coach and mentor for your teammates, as no one person can know it all
* This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
* Demonstrated technical implementation support in CNP, CP environments or Project Management experience in applicable areas
* Must have strong relationship management skills and experience and an ability to plan strategically
* Must be able to skilfully prioritize and manage concurrent projects and issues
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience in working with cross-functional/cross-departmental and virtual teams, managing business and technical relationships
* Self-starter with strong organization and resolution management skills
* Must work well as a part of a team
* Must demonstrate strong complex problem solving capabilities
* Has competency in a technical skillset, such as networking principles or coding
* Payment industry experience
* PRINCE2, PMP or similar project management certification
* Customer support experience
* Card-not-present, Card Present and risk mitigation methodology experience is strongly preferred
* International banking knowledge, gained from merchant work experience
* Coding or technical architecture experience
