Staff and budgetary responsibilities
A respected UK membership organisation is seeking a Head of Financial Services to lead its work across banking, insurance and investment management. This influential role shapes policy positions, thought leadership and member guidance on the issues defining the future of financial services.
The Role
* Build strong relationships with senior industry figures, regulators and member groups.
* Lead a programme of policy insight, technical content and thought leadership.
* Commission and manage expert contributors to deliver high‑quality outputs.
* Produce authoritative responses to government and regulatory consultations.
* Ensure alignment between policy, member support and wider organisational strategy.
About You
* Degree or relevant professional qualification; chartered accountancy advantageous.
* Recent experience in financial services, professional services or regulation.
* Strong grasp of sector developments, including ESG, IFRS 9/17, cryptoassets and regulatory reform.
* Proven project management skills and ability to deliver high‑quality content.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
