Junior Account Manager Location: Battersea, London Salary: £32,000–£35,000 Contract: Full time, permanent Work Type: Office and field based across central London About Us At Harvey & Brockless, part of The Compleat Food Group, we supply exceptional artisan and speciality foods to chefs, high end restaurants, and food businesses across the UK. With an ever-growing product portfolio and a people-first culture, we’re expanding our commercial team with 3 new Junior Account Managers, to be based out of our Battersea site, London. The Role This is not your typical sales role. We're looking for someone who’s genuinely passionate about food and has experience within the foodservice, hospitality, or wholesale sectors. Whether you’ve been front-of-house, in a food buying role, or as a chef, we value your insight and industry knowledge. you’ll need to be based in or near London, and comfortable travelling to visit customers regularly across central London. Key Responsibilities * To support the management and growth of existing customers, from restaurants to hotels and wholesale * Identify and approach potential new customers to increase market presence * Build strong, trust-based relationships — becoming a true partner to your customers * Coordinate customer orders with internal teams across production, warehouse, and distribution * Act as the key point of contact for any queries, issues, or opportunities * Keep customer records and activity logs updated in CRM/operating systems * Work closely with purchasing and production to align supply with customer demand * Support new product introductions and seasonal launches relevant to your customers * Support the delivery sales and margin targets * Offer value through product training, demos, or menu support where needed * Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality regulations What We’re Looking For Experience: * Strong food industry knowledge is essential * Background in foodservice, hospitality, FMCG, or food wholesale ideal * Experience managing customer relationships or a keen interest in transitioning into sales * Comfortable working with internal teams (e.g. supply chain, customer service) Skills & Attributes: * A real passion for food and a desire to share that with others * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills * Commercial mindset — understands pricing, value, and margins * Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive * Microsoft Excel competency * Able to manage multiple accounts and adapt to customer needs * Approachable and customer-focused What’s On Offer * Salary: £32,000–£35,000 (depending on experience) * Progression opportunity to become an Account Manager * Join an extraordinary business with the finest products, best suppliers and superb customers in the food industry * A welcoming and supportive team, many of whom come from hospitality or culinary backgrounds
