In this role, you’ll support clients with daily tasks, help them build independence and confidence, and assist them in achieving their personal goals. Your Key Responsibilities: Provide person-centred support to clients with daily tasks and activities, helping them achieve their goals and maintain independence. Foster a positive program culture grounded in RFQ’s values of empowerment, trust, compassion, resilience, and respect. Maintain accurate and timely records using digital tools and follow organisational policies, procedures, and quality standards. Actively contribute to a collaborative, supportive team environment through open communication and participation in team meetings. Respond flexibly to rostered duties and supervisor directions, ensuring consistent and reliable client support. Identify, report, and assist in managing hazards, incidents, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Participate in supervision and professional development, continually building your skills and knowledge. You will have: Diploma in a human services related field; or Certificate IV in Mental Health or equivalent and demonstrated previous experience working with people with mental illness Experience, or the ability to provide quality support to people with mental illness, helping them achieve their goals within organisational requirements. Strong interpersonal, communication, and record-keeping skills using office and mobile technologies, as well as access to a smart phone suitable for work purposes. Ability to work effectively in a team, contribute to a positive, collaborative culture, and reliably meet schedules, timelines, and defined outcomes. Open driver’s licence, access to a registered vehicle and smartphone suitable for work. Undergo criminal history screening and obtain and maintain a positive notice and Yellow Card pursuant to the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld) Why RFQ?
