We are seeking a dedicated and versatile IT Support Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with a solid track record in IT support, infrastructure management, and endpoint security, who are eager to expand into advanced areas such as networking, device management, and cybersecurity. The successful candidate will lead and support technical projects, contribute to infrastructure improvements, and serve as a technical escalation point within the team.
Responsibilities include providing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line technical support to internal users both remotely and onsite, troubleshooting a wide range of issues, and ensuring prompt resolution to maintain business continuity.
You will manage and support Microsoft 365 services like SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange Online, as well as administer Microsoft Azure services to ensure their availability and performance.
Device lifecycle management is a key focus, utilizing Microsoft Intune and Autopilot for deployment, configuration, and ongoing support. Routine server maintenance, patching, and performance tuning across Windows Server environments are also required.
Your duties will include maintaining Active Directory, managing group policies, and supporting data protection and recovery using Veeam.
You will support hybrid telephony systems such as 8x8 and Microsoft Teams, ensuring seamless communication, and maintain security for corporate mobile devices using MDM platforms.
Qualifications include:
* IT support experience (1st to 3rd line)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Office 365, and Active Directory
* Experience with Veeam backups and virtualization (e.g., VMware)
* Knowledge of networking hardware, HP Aruba, and ClearPass
* Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and in small teams
* Understanding of test system methodologies
* This is a full-time on-site role at our campus in Melbourn
Desirable skills:
* PowerShell scripting and automation
* Knowledge of Microsoft Entra, MDM policies, and security compliance
* Experience with server builds, storage, and AV/telephony systems
* Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Network+/A+, Windows
* Oracle NetSuite experience
* Experience with Office 365 migration strategies
