Teaching Assistant Special Needs Education SEMH and ASC Focus
Role Summary
This is a term:time:only Teaching Assistant position for 36 hours per week, focused on supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC). The salary is between GBP23,746 and GBP26,986 FTE.
Main Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant, your primary duties will include:

Providing direct support to pupils, both individually and in small groups.

Working with teachers to implement lesson plans and educational activities.

Monitoring student progress and assisting with assessment records.

Maintaining a positive and organised learning environment.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:

GCSEs in Maths and English or an equivalent qualification.

Prior experience working with children.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.
