Forge Talent are partnering with a growing retail business in their search for a Management Accountant to join a well-established team.
Operating across the UK and Europe, the business supplies major retailers while continuing to expand its direct-to-consumer offering alongside an established B2B model. With multiple moving parts across e-commerce and retail, the business partners with well-known brands in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
The Role
Forge Talent are seeking a driven and commercially minded Management Accountant to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while supporting wider business growth.
This is a high-impact role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is keen to drive improvements, influence decision-making, and support strategic initiatives, including potential M&A activity.
Key Responsibilities
* Full ownership of monthly management accounts
* Lead process improvements across the finance function
* Support commercial decision-making, including pricing and tenders
* Partner with key stakeholders to provide financial insight across the business
* Manage VAT returns and support audit processes
* Work closely with the transactions team
* Take full ownership of P&L performance
* Improve reporting timelines and overall efficiency
About You
* Part-qualified, qualified, or QBE (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
* Strong sense of ownership and accountability
* Proactive, driven, and able to work independently
* Commercially aware with the ability to influence decisions
* Experience within manufacturing, retail, or e-commerce environments is beneficial
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business
