We are looking for an experienced Agile Delivery Manager with energy, enthusiasm and a passion for making things happen. You'll work alongside talented technical and data professionals, leading a wide range of initiatives focused on creating and maintaining cutting‑edge data products and platforms.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
* Promoting a culture of psychological safety in teams, managing team dynamics and fostering a continuous improvement environment
* Experience of leading and building stakeholder relationships at multiple levels
* Having a proactive approach to learning and development of yourself and others
* Experience in the use of Agile principles and practices
* Experience of digital delivery in an agile environment for a data product/service or a data platform
Your role
You’ll be part of our Management Information team. DWP needs the right intelligence to deliver and improve our services. Management Information provides the strategic capability for MI reporting and visualisations across the entire Department. Our Agile Delivery Managers enable expert digital teams to create, build, innovate and deliver. Your mission is to get the best out of them.
You’ll create psychologically safe spaces where those experts can be at their best. You’ll make sure our people have what they need to deliver the best services. You’ll identify blockers and find the best way round through, and over. Our focus is on individuals and interactions, values and behaviours – not processes, tools or documentation – and we put the user at the centre of everything we do.
Our Agile Delivery practice is thriving with over 200 members. This is a brilliant opportunity to fast‑track your skills and your career as part of the largest Delivery community in government.
Location and Working arrangements
* Location: you will join us in one of our digital hubs in Blackpool, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield, whichever is most convenient for you.
* Hybrid Working: you will spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face‑to‑face in a hub.
* Pay: competitive pay from £57,946 to £75,748.
* Pension: civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%, up to £19,759 per year.
* Holidays: generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time. You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi‑time. Public holidays included.
