Salary: £37,000 Pro rata

The Role
As an HR Advisor (FTC) you’ll act as a trusted advisor to managers and colleagues on a wide range of HR and employee relations matters. You’ll lead on complex casework including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management and sickness absence, ensuring a fair, consistent, and legally sound approach. You’ll work closely with the People Business Partner to support strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, wellbeing, and organisational culture, and play a key role in delivering manager training and contributing to people projects within the company and a group perspective.
What You’ll Need
* Significant experience dealing with people issues including disciplinary, grievance and capability.
* Excellent knowledge of UK Employment Legislation and HR best practice.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, active listening.
* Strong stakeholder and interpersonal management skills.
* Strong attention to detail, multitasking and prioritisation.
* High level of trust and integrity in handling sensitive issues.
* Values champion who demonstrates behaviour underpinning our values.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
* Ideally experience in a unionised environment.
* Equivalent experience to CIPD qualification.
* Decision-making, risk evaluation, sound judgement, problem solving.
