Job Title: Operational Administrative Assistant

Location: Yorkshire, Barnsley, office-based during probation with hybrid working available thereafter

Salary: £25,000 – £31,000 (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Operational Administrative Assistant to support our operations team and help ensure our systems, reporting, and project coordination run smoothly. This is a key role within the business and suited to someone looking for a long-term position where they can become a valued part of the team.

Key Responsibilities


•⁠ ⁠Provide administrative support to the operations and project teams


•⁠ ⁠Maintain accurate operational records, job trackers, and compliance documentation


•⁠ ⁠Produce reports and analyse data using Excel


•⁠ ⁠Coordinate schedules, internal communications, and team updates


•⁠ ⁠Support supplier coordination and job tracking processes


•⁠ ⁠Assist with improving processes and strengthening reporting systems

About You


•⁠ ⁠Previous experience in an administrative or operational support role


•⁠ ⁠Excellent computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Office 365


•⁠ ⁠Strong attention to detail and data accuracy


•⁠ ⁠Organised, reliable, and able to manage workload independently


•⁠ ⁠Looking for a stable role with opportunities to grow and develop within a company
