We are looking for our future Portfolio Operations Lead, Marketing for EMEA to join our Global Marketing Operations team in Ireland, the UK or Germany.

Resmed’s Global Marketing team is looking for a Portfolio Operations Lead, Marketing - EMEA to partner with regional marketing leadership in shaping, prioritizing, and managing the EMEA marketing portfolio. In this role, you will steer how marketing demand is translated into an executable, sequenced, and well-resourced portfolio that drives measurable business impact.
Acting as a strategic operational partner to regional leaders, this role brings rigor to planning, investment decisions, and delivery at scale, ensuring that marketing priorities are realistic, aligned, and optimized across markets.
The ideal candidate is a strategic operator and relationship builder who thrives in complex, matrixed environments. You bring structure and clarity to dynamic teams, while keeping execution agile, audience-focused, and outcomes-driven.
Success in this role requires balancing strategic alignment with hands-on orchestration, acting as the single source of truth for regional operations, surfacing insights for leadership, and removing blockers so our marketing plans scale with speed and impact.
Let’s talk about Responsibilities:
1. Portfolio Planning & Governance
Own and maintain the single source of truth for the EMEA marketing roadmap, sequencing, budgets. Align activities to long-term business plans and annual priorities, ensuring transparency and accountability across teams.
2. Investment, Capacity & Resource Optimization
Translate approved budgets into resource and capacity plans. Identify skill gaps, assess workload distribution, and recommend staffing or vendor support where needed.
3. Process & Tool Stewardship
Champion standardized ways of working across marketing teams, ensuring consistent use of tools like Asana and Confluence to track, manage, and report on work.
4. Change Management & Continuous Improvement
Onboard new teams to Resmed’s marketing delivery model, measure adoption, and drive ongoing refinements to improve efficiency and collaboration.
5. Cross-Functional & Regional Facilitation
Act as the bridge between EMEA, AMER, APAC, and global marketing functions. Coordinate with Product, Finance, Revenue, and other partners to align plans, priorities, and delivery timelines.
6. Performance Insights
Publish regular “regional portfolio health” updates covering budget utilization, milestone progress, and risk visibility to help leadership make informed decisions.
7. Audience Strategy Integration
Connect the dots across audience teams (Consumer, Provider, Brand, Communications). Lead integrated campaign planning, manage campaign calendars, and ensure every initiative has a clear brief, execution plan, and performance review.
8. Team Leadership & Development
Manage and mentor a team of regional Project Managers. Provide guidance, remove barriers, and enable growth through clear expectations, regular feedback, and professional development. Ensure your team operates as an extension of Global Marketing Operations & PMO, aligned in approach, empowered in execution.
Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience:
9. 10+ years of experience in portfolio operations, program delivery, business operations, or marketing-adjacent operational leadership roles
10. Experience owning or managing marketing portfolios or large, multi-market programs
11. Hands-on experience operating within modern delivery frameworks (e.g., Agile, SAFe, hybrid, or iterative models) with a strong understanding of project management fundamentals
12. Proven experience managing and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on coaching, clarity, and accountability
13. Hands-on expertise with project management tools such as Asana, Confluence, or similar platforms
14. Strong facilitation and conflict-resolution skills in complex, matrixed organizations
15. Financial and data fluency: able to build capacity models, analyze trade-offs, and connect insights to strategic recommendations
16. A track record of building operational playbooks, running retrospectives, and scaling best practices
