Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Site Procurement Manager to join our dedicated and professional Procurement team. The role is permanent and can be based in Edinburgh, UK or Zwolle, Netherlands, with travel throughout Western Europe.
Responsibilities
* Negotiate and manage job packages for activities such as foundations, electrical works, roads & hard stands, piling works, cranes, installation teams, and other site services.
* Manage subcontractors for site works.
* Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project goals.
* Negotiate contracts and secure competitive terms.
* Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
* Assess and reduce procurement‑related risks while adhering to local regulations.
* Identify and implement process improvements and maintain accurate procurement data in SAP.
* Collaborate closely with project management, engineering, and quality teams.

The key qualities we look for
* Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical or business administration field.
* Demonstrable experience in international procurement, preferably in project environments.
* Proven experience in strategic procurement and vendor management roles.
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills (FIDIC knowledge is highly advantageous).
* Technical affinity and proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Ariba (or similar platforms).
* Excellent communication skills in English.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Full, valid UK driving licence.
