Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in childcare and early childhood education, demonstrating the ability to manage a team effectively while providing a nurturing environment for children. This role requires excellent communication skills in English and the ability to engage with both staff and children. As a Room Leader, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that all activities are conducted smoothly and in accordance with our standards.
Responsibilities
* Ensuring high-quality care and education for children.
* Planning and coordinating activities.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress.
* Foster a positive environment that encourages children's development through play and learning.
* Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills while motivating the team.
Requirements
* Level 3 in Childcare
* Monday - Friday (8am - 5.15pm) - No school hours
* X1 full time or x2 part time staff
* Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
* A genuine drive to support children's growth and development.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative when required.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities within the nursery environment.
Shift pattern example;
Monday 8 - 5.15
Tuesday 8 - 4
Wednesday 8 - 5.15
Thursday 9 - 4
Friday 8 - 4.30
