Overview
Home Instead is the world’s leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people. We match our Care Professionals to clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enable personalised support.
What the job is about
You’ll help clients in their homes with daily activities, from morning routines to meals, and supporting independence. Examples include assisting with getting up, choosing an outfit, preparing breakfast, helping with medications, assisting with a shower, and providing companionship during the day. There may also be light tidying or running errands such as shopping.
But here’s the special bit. You’re not just a helper; you’re a lifeline, a listener, and often a source of encouragement. You’ll help keep clients comfortable and safe in their own homes so they can stay independent.
Training and development
Our training is not just about ticking boxes; it’s about elevating your skills and boosting your confidence to enable you to provide high quality care.
