Our client is a long established manufacturing company. Innovative and dynamic, they are constantly pursuing new ways to improve the services and products they offer. An opportunity has arisen for a Line Leader to join their team.
This is the ideal role for a Line Leader looking to develop their career with an expanding company; you would be responsible for around 3 or 4 Production Operators.
Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:00 and 15:00 – 23:00 rotating weekly with an hourly pay of £13.17.
As a Line Leader, you will be responsible for the Safety, Quality and Output of your line.
Your duties will include:
1. Reporting at daily production meetings when on day shift.
2. Fill hour by hour chart for your line/shift on performance dashboard.
3. Fill in shift output on performance dashboard.
4. Ensure Quality Technician tests are carried out.
5. Carry out QC tests in excess of current Quality Technician tests.
6. Train staff on the line.
7. Keeping machines supplied with the correct materials.
8. Keep line running at all times and escalate when breakdown occurs.
9. Make sure changeovers are done quickly and efficiently.
To be considered for the role as a Line Leader, you must have:
1. Ability to communicate with all levels of management.
2. High levels of accuracy with good numeracy.
3. Good team lead skills.
4. Great attitude and the ability to motivate a team inclusively.
5. Experience of operating in a fast moving manufacturing environment.
Good to have:
1. Experience of working within a DSEAR framework.
2. Experience of working within a cGMP environment.
