Distinct are partnering with a strong, well-established organisation of circa 2,000 employees to recruit a HR Policy Advisor to join their HR Operations and Shared Service Centre team. The successful candidate will serve as the in-house people policy expert, supporting operational HR delivery, ensuring policy compliance and driving continuous improvement across the employee journey.
Key Responsibilities
1. Act as the primary policy advisor within HR Operations and Shared Service Centre, providing expert guidance on policies, practices and employment law.
2. Develop, review and update HR policies and procedures to ensure they remain aligned with best practice, current legislation and business objectives.
3. Support the implementation of policy changes across the employee lifecycle in collaboration with HR Operations, People Services, and HR Business Partnering.
4. Provide accurate, timely advice and guidance to managers and HR teams in UK Shared Service Centre settings, resolving complex queries and escalations.
