Job Overview
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and dedicated Deputy Headteacher to support the Headteacher and Head of School in the effective leadership and smooth day-to-day running of SVC. The successful candidate will be expected to assume full responsibility in their absence and play a key role in shaping the school's strategic direction. This includes contributing to the development of the school's aims and objectives and helping to establish the policies needed to achieve them. The Deputy Headteacher will be a role model for the highest standards of professionalism and will foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and clear communication across the school community.

The ideal candidate will have:
* A strong commitment to upholding and delivering the school's vision, values, and strategic direction
* Proven experience in leading curriculum development, timetabling, and effective assessment systems
* The ability to drive and sustain high standards in teaching, learning, and pupil achievement
* A track record of successfully managing, supporting, and developing staff through performance management and high-quality professional development
* The capability to implement and maintain efficient systems, processes, and policies across the school
* A collaborative and outward-facing approach to school improvement and innovation
* A deep understanding of safeguarding, with a commitment to promoting a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment
* The ability to model and promote the school's core values: Be Ready, Be Respectful, Be Safe
