Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Telehandler Operator to join our dynamic construction project in Luton. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a telescopic handler (telehandler) to move, lift, and position materials and equipment on the construction site. Your expertise will ensure efficient materials handling, support fabrication processes, and contribute to the seamless flow of operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, precision, and teamwork are paramount. There is 2 years work minimum on site for the right candidate's.
Duties
* Operate telehandlers with precision to load, unload, and transport materials within a construction environment.
* Conduct daily safety inspections of the telehandler, including checking fluid levels, tyre conditions, and operational controls
* Assist with materials handling tasks such as stacking pallets, moving heavy equipment and being part of a team.
* Collaborate with team members to coordinate material flow and ensure timely delivery to various workstations
* Maintain accurate logs of material movements and equipment usage for inventory control and safety compliance
* Follow all safety protocols related to forklift operation, crane handling, and general safety standards
Experience
* Proven experience operating telehandlers or forklifts within a construction environment.
* CPCS preferred but NPORS also accepted for right individual.
