Salary: up to £28,000 per annum dependent upon experience
Aeropeople have partnered with a multinational organisation, global designer and manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices company who are now looking to hire a permanent Compressed Gas Fitter, to be based at their site in Stansted. The successful candidate will be expected to be on site 5 days per week.

They are a global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices specialising services for more than 5,000 components over a variety of aircraft systems with capabilities covering aircraft windings, electrical power, hydraulic components, landing gear and safety equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
* To repair, test and overhaul valve & cylinder assemblies and undertake hydrostatic testing of cylinders and charging of complete assemblies (up to 4500 PSI)
* Strip down of valve assemblies
* Replace standard spares as part of the overhaul process
* Inspect individual parts and replace defective items
* Thorough clean of components
* Build-up valve assemblies ready for testing on various flow rigs
* Hydrostatic testing of cylinders in accordance with Department of Transport requirements
* Re-assembly of the valve and cylinder components
* Charge the complete assemblies to pressures of up to 4500 PSI
* Provide ad hoc support, as required, to the safety inflatable team
About You:
* Prior experience working of interpreting and following in detail compliance manuals (essential)
* Numerate and literate – minimum GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
* Ability to work well in multi-discipline/cross-functional teams
* Working within a small team of skilled technicians, reliability, flexibility and teamwork are key skill requirements
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build close-knit relationships
* Strong organisation skills and excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and multitask whilst maintaining a high degree of quality, workmanship and compliance with health and safety regulations
* Strong communicator (written and verbal)
* Positive, enthusiastic, confident and motivated
