ROLE: Service Coordinator
LOCATION: Chesterfield

We're looking for a Service Coordinator who will play a key role in supporting service delivery by acting as a central point of contact for customers, engineers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring breakdowns, service visits, and quoted works are delivered efficiently and accurately.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Act as the primary responder for the Service Line as part of the call pick‑up group.
2. Liaise with customers regarding breakdowns, service contract visits, and quoted works for your allocated geographical territory and account customers.
3. Confirm with site or Service Engineers that parts required for quoted works, breakdowns, and service visits have been delivered.
4. Work closely with the Regional Service Manager to programme breakdowns, service contract visits, and quoted works, including updating the Service Schedule.
5. Liaise with Service Engineers to book site visits and act as the interface between customers and engineers before and after site attendance.
6. Process daily invoicing of site reports for breakdowns, service contract visits, and quoted works.
7. Deputise for other Service Coordinators during busy periods, sickness, or holidays as required.
8. Obtain order numbers for spares fitted during service contract visits and raise invoices accordingly.
9. Update BMS site asset records and service kits following changes to customer equipment.
10. Enter service contracts for allocated territories and account customers onto the BMS system.
11. Enter service quotations onto the BMS system alongside other Service Coordinators.
12. Provide administrative support to Service Engineers both in the office and for on‑site requirements.
13. Place urgent supplier orders and support the Service Logistics Manager with single‑line supplier orders where required.
14. Manage all administration for allocated key account customers.
15. Undertake general office duties including answering phones, photocopying, filing, faxing, and placing orders.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.
16. Strong organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
17. Excellent communication skills with confidence liaising with customers and internal stakeholders.
18. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced service environment.
19. Competent IT skills and confidence working with systems such as BMS (or similar).
20. Experience in service coordination, scheduling, customer service, or engineering support environments (desirable).
