About the Role
Prospero Teaching is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Doncaster to recruit a passionate Teacher of French. This is an exciting opportunity to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the position running through until Summer 2026.
The school is seeking an enthusiastic and committed French specialist who can inspire students and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons within a supportive and well-resourced Modern Foreign Languages department.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging French lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning
* Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
* Contribute to the wider life of the department and school where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Specialises in French and has experience teaching KS3 and KS4
* Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
* Has a passion for languages and a commitment to student progress
* Is reliable, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
* Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to obtain one)
