Mental Health Support Worker (SEMH School) Location: Ponteland Setting: SEMH Specialist School Pupils: Approximately 100 students aged 11–16 years Contract: [Full-time / Part-time | Term-time only] About the Role: Leader Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our SEMH specialist school in Ponteland. The school supports around 100 young people aged 11–16 with social, emotional, and mental health needs, providing a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where pupils are supported to re-engage with learning and develop positive coping strategies. This role is central to supporting students’ emotional wellbeing and mental health, working in line with the school’s core values of respect, integrity, compassion, honesty, and trust.
