About the role
This is a part-time Teaching Assistant role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, working 1:1 with a child in Y3 who needs additional support with challenging behaviour. The role will commence in September 2024 and is ongoing, with the potential to become long-term depending on the school's needs.
Salary depends on experience, training, or qualifications.
The minimum requirements include a Level 3 or above qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, with SEND experience desirable.
The Role
The successful teaching assistant will work as part of a dedicated team, providing high-quality support to a Y3 child on a 1:1 basis and must be adaptable to changing environments.

Requirements
* Hold at least a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning.
* Experience in EYFS is desirable.
* Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting.
* Experience supporting small nurture groups to improve attainment.
* A genuine desire to be part of a committed school team.
* Experience supporting children in primary education, particularly in Early Years.
