About the Role:
We are seeking a caring, proactive and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. You will work closely with the Year 1 class teacher to provide high-quality support both inside and outside the classroom, helping children achieve their best academically, socially and emotionally.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Supporting daily classroom activities and learning tasks
Providing 1:1 or small-group support where needed
Helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment
Assisting with phonics, early maths and literacy activities
Encouraging independence, confidence and good behaviour
Supporting with classroom organisation and preparation
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
Loves working with young children
Is patient, energetic and enthusiastic
Has good communication and teamwork skills
Can follow direction while also showing initiative
Experience in a school setting or an appropriate qualification is desirable but not essential
