About The Role Winchester Heights Care Home, located in Winchester is looking for a dedicated and passionate Concierge to join their team. You will have exceptional customer service skills and be willing to go above and beyond expectations from our residents. Your attention to detail will be unmatched and you'll love getting involved with the teams in the home, working alongside the home to provide a wonderful resident experience, always looking to demonstrate our values of being Proud, Supportive and Caring.
The key responsibilities of our Concierge include:
1. To maintain a safe and secure environment and to report areas/issues of concern.
2. Movement of furniture in preparation for all regular and major functions and residents’ activities.
3. Monitor access to the site.
4. Secure all entrances and all buildings at the end of each day.
5. Undertake regular security patrols of the site as directed.
6. Answer the main telephone for the site and direct calls to the right extension, take messages and pass on.
7. To ensure compliance with all fire, health & safety regulations.
8. Carry out cleaning duties such as Hoovering, Polishing, Carpet Cleaning and use of roller ironing machine.
9. Answering of any alarm calls during your working hours and informing managers in the morning of any issues that have occurred.
