Salary : Unqualified: Base salary of £X to £Y on successful completion of probation period with the potential to earn up to £Z with sleep-in shifts.
Qualified Salary: Base salary of £A with a potential to earn up to £B with sleep-in shifts.
Specific Hours : :am - :pm (hour shifts)
(Qualified Support Worker salary is based on the proven existing completion of Children Workforce Diploma or equivalent)

The welfare of our young people is paramount in the role of a Support Worker. Support Workers keep our young people safe and contribute to their care, learning, and development. They build bridges between Area Camden and the community, promoting social inclusion and supporting people with emotional and behavioral difficulties to reach their full potential.
Main Responsibilities:
* Work with the team to promote and support the young people, providing a safe and nurturing environment.
* Provide emotional and social support, helping develop meaningful relationships and encouraging community involvement.
* Support self-esteem and respect for each young person.
* Assist young people in making positive life choices and developing independence.
* Record events and observations accurately, including progress, care plans, and safety checks.
* Assess needs continually and contribute to care plan formulation, implementation, and review.
* Work closely with professionals and families, supervising contacts when appropriate.
* Support daily living needs and carry out domestic duties, including meal planning and preparation.
Required Attributes:
* Ability to engage positively with young people.
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
* Sensitive, reflective, and empathetic.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Experience in care or residential care preferred.
* Relevant qualification or willingness to undertake Level Diploma for Residential Childcare.
* Willingness to work some Bank Holidays.
