The opportunity
The Delivery Lead is responsible for the management of Portfolio engineering activities associated with the delivery of the MBDA Complex Weapons Portfolio, including management of technical risks, obsolescence and engineering commonality. The role demands a motivated individual with broad technical knowledge and good influencing skills, suitable for someone looking for a balance of technical understanding and broader business delivery aspects. The successful individual will be exposed to wider Portfolio factors such as financial efficiencies, operational performance, exportability and freedom of action to the UK MoD.

* Act as the point of contact between functions, equipment teams, centres of excellence and the portfolio as risks or issues arise.
* Ensure solutions for portfolio obsolescence removal do not affect the established dependencies.
What we're looking for from you
* A good understanding of design process throughout a product's life cycle.
* The ability to work with, influence, and challenge where required, including senior MOD and MBDA management.
* A flexible mindset, able to tackle problems and develop genuinely innovative solutions for design challenges.
* Ability to understand sophisticated technical problems, often with a high degree of uncertainty, complexity and inconsistency.
* Effectively manage your priorities when presented with issues from multiple projects.
* Ability to concisely summarise multi-faceted problems and influence, lead and empower teams positively.
