Cafe/Diner Manager - Fareham - £30kp/a Evenings Off
We are a newly established American-style diner offering classic comfort food in a relaxed, friendly setting. As a growing business, we're focused on building strong service standards, developing a great team culture, and delivering a consistently enjoyable guest experience.
Role Summary
As Manager, your role is to lead all daily operations, ensuring excellent service, smooth running of the venue, and a positive atmosphere for guests and staff.
This is a visible, hands‑on role where you lead from the front, motivate the team, and maintain high standards throughout service.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all front‑of‑house operations
* Maintain consistently high service and guest experience standards
* Recruit, train, and support team members
* Create staff rotas aligned with business needs
* Oversee stock control and ordering
* Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety requirements
* Handle guest feedback professionally
* Work closely with the kitchen and operational leadership
About You
* Proven experience in hospitality management or supervisory roles
* Confident leading teams in a fast-paced, food-led environment
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Good understanding of labour control, stock management, and financial reporting
* Calm, solutions‑focused, and positive under pressure
* Flexible and adaptable
* Eligible to work in the UK
