Full Time - 9 months fixed-term contract, with the possibility to extend to 12 months

£40,000 per annum

The Role
As Procurement Coordinator, you will support the procurement function and act as a key stakeholder throughout all stages of the procurement process, This position is responsible for assisting with the initial identification of stock requirements, through stock management, to the preparation of payment information, ensuring efficient and accurate procurement operations.
What will you be doing?
* Plan the raw material requirements in collaboration with Procurement and Operations whilst ensuring the correct material is available on time to complete all customer orders
* Take ownership of the Trading Sheet, ensuring all relevant data is accurately maintained, traders are actively pursuing pay weights, suppliers are paid on time, and customers are invoiced correctly
* Collect, collate and analyse necessary data to produce weekly performance figures, maintain relevant sections of the KPI report, and complete weekly and monthly forecasts, as required
* Manage the payment process to ensure all payments are accurate, timely, and clearly communicated on a weekly basis to relevant stakeholders
* Provide regular updates to the Procurement Team on contract positions, ensuring contracts are completed within the appropriate time frames and communicating any variances to the Procurement Manager
* Manage Class 2 and stock feed inventory and sales to maximise market opportunities, including liaising with the Lincoln site regarding the availability of suitable material for peeling and processing
* Actively participate as a member of the Procurement Team by attending team meetings and contributing to discussions and continuous improvement initiatives
What we want from you?
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly in Word and Excel
* Strong administrative, organisational, and time management skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workload
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Previous experience with fresh produce or FMCG environments (Desirable)
* Experience using ERP systems (Desirable)
