Responsibilities of the Semi Senior Accountant role include:
* Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
* Assisting with corporation tax and personal tax computations
* Preparing VAT returns and supporting client compliance work
* Liaising with clients to resolve queries and provide advice
* Supporting Senior colleagues with more complex assignments
* Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and deadlines are met
Requirements of the Semi Senior Accountant role include:
* Previous UK practice experience is essential
* AAT qualified, part qualified ACCA/ACA, or qualified by experience
* Good understanding of accounts preparation and tax compliance
* Confident in client communication and queries
* Proactive, organised, and keen to develop within practice
