Role Overview We are seeking a qualified and motivated Retrofit Assessor to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will conduct detailed property assessments in line with PAS 2035 standards, gathering accurate data to support the design and installation of energy efficiency upgrades. This is a key role in ensuring high-quality retrofit projects that deliver measurable improvements in energy performance and comfort for homeowners. Key Responsibilities * Conduct on-site energy assessments of domestic properties in accordance with PAS 2035. * Gather accurate data on property construction, insulation, heating systems, ventilation, and occupancy. * Produce Retrofit Assessment Reports, including RdSAP calculations, occupancy assessments, and ventilation evaluations. * Liaise with Retrofit Coordinators, Designers, and Installers to support effective retrofit planning. * Ensure assessments are completed within agreed timescales and uploaded to project management systems. * Maintain detailed records and photographic evidence for compliance and auditing purposes. * Deliver excellent customer service and represent Alpha Solar professionally at all times. Essential Requirements * Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) qualification. * Level 4 Retrofit Assessor qualification (in accordance with PAS 2035). * Sound understanding of building fabric, heating systems, and retrofit principles. * Experience with ECO4 or similar government-funded energy efficiency schemes. * Excellent communication, report writing, and IT skills. * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel. Desirable Attributes * Knowledge of PAS 2035 processes and software platforms (e.g. Elmhurst, ECMK). * Previous experience working within renewable energy or construction sectors. * Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. * Commitment to sustainability and improving housing energy efficiency.
