About Our Client
Our client is a top performing Real Estate Private Equity fund with rising two decades of track-record investing in all sectors, including Alternatives and Op-Co's. Now in an exciting period of growth, after a significant equity raise, they are looking to expand their investment team.
Job Description
3. Working closely with the VP, the Head of Acquisitions and the senior leadership team to drive performance across the portfolio and at all stages of the investment cycle
4. Creating, maintaining and managing financial models to analyse new investments, proposed changes to asset and investment business plans and development management decisions
5. Participating in DD for acquisitions and financing, engaging with external stakeholders (brokers & advisors)
6. Working collaboratively with Asset Management, Investor Relations and Finance colleagues as well as with external advisors
7. Presenting with clarity, care and attention to detail to the senior leadership team
8. Preparing Investment Memo's for the presentation of acquisitions to IC
9. Understanding and tracking key business plan drivers, overall business plan timeline/s, programme, milestones and business plan history to assist in asset/development management decisions
10. Preparing and updating investment valuations with historic operating data for investor reporting purposes.
11. Creating pitch decks for new business / product development in support of Investor Relations activities.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Real Estate Analyst 2 should have:
12. Quality academics including a degree in Real Estate, RE Finance or STEM subjects.
13. 1-4 years in investment banking or PE Real Estate
14. Advanced Financial Modelling / DCF essential
15. Strong presentation skills
16. Excellent process management and organisation skills
17. Strong stakeholder management skills.
18. Excellent communication, commercial acumen, judgement and problem solving essential
19. Existing value-add Real Estate Asset / Development Management skills desirable
20. Able to demonstrate critical and lateral thinking
21. Inquisitive mindset, intellectually curious
22. Confidence to ask questions, check investment assumptions
23. Receptive to direct and honest feedback
24. Invested in own personal development and continuous improvement
25. Motivated to gain exposure and experience across the entire life-cycle of PE Real Estate fund.
