We are looking for a kind, active and reliable Carer to support a young lady with special needs who lives independently in her own home in Lancaster.
A staff room is provided for on-site carers.
About the Role
You’ll be part of a friendly team providing day-to-day support and companionship. Duties include:
* Accompanying the client on trips and outings
* Supporting her with daily activities
* Helping with light household tasks
* Encouraging independence and fun in daily life
We’re looking for someone who:
* Is caring, patient, and has a great sense of humour
* Works well as part of a team but can also use their own initiative
* Ideally has experience in care (training provided if not)
* Holds a full, clean driving licence (a car is provided)
* Lives locally to South Lancaster and can reliably commute to the client’s home
Hours & Pay
* Shifts available: 24-hour, day, and evening shifts
* Pay: National Minimum Wage (£12.21 per hour aged 21 plus)
* Leave: Six weeks’ annual leave (pro rata)
Requirements:
* Must be local to Lancaster
* Two professional references
