Your new company
Hays are delighted to be representing a long-standing client of ours within the Moray area to positively support in their recruitment requirement for a Finance Manager. This role will be joining a locally established, nationally recognised organisation that are market leaders within their industry providing services to individuals and organisations across the country. They are looking to recruit an experienced finance professional in the local area who is interested in people management and taking on a varied role on a permanent full-time basis.
Your new role
In your new role, you will become a key member of the established finance team to positively manage the daily and monthly operations of the transactional finance team. This role will require someone to be confident in reviewing and supporting with daily accounts payable and credit control tasks from ledger management through to identifying discrepancies, as well as supporting to provide commentary and analysis on final accounts for non-financial stakeholders. The successful individual will have a proactive role in business partnering and working closely with the Finance Director to manage all associated finance tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you will demonstrate a sound understanding of transactional finance combined with an ability to manage and support a growing team. This role will suit someone who is interested in a varied finance and people management position, either CA qualified or qualified by experience, and looking for a role to continue progressing their own finance career with a clear succession plan. You need to be a confident communicator, both written and verbal, with a willingness to manage queries from both financial and non-financial stakeholders within the business.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be offered a competitive base salary of up to 60,000 per annum plus company benefits that can be discussed at application stage. This role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis with hybrid working arrangements.
