We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of English to inspire and support students at Alvaston Moor Academy.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality English lessons that engage and challenge pupils.
* Support students’ literacy development and critical‑thinking skills.
* Contribute to academy life, including curriculum planning and assessment.
* Maintain a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and improve teaching outcomes.
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE).
* Experience teaching English to secondary pupils.
* Strong communication skills and a passion for student success.
* Commitment to safeguarding, child protection and inclusion.
