Are you actively looking for a new opportunity in procurement? Are you immediately available or available at short notice for a 12-month FTC in Procurement?
This role is within a well-established FMCG business with a rich heritage and diverse portfolio of brands. The company is growing, and they need a Procurement Manager to join their team for an initial 12-month period. You will work across various functions including HR, IT, FM, and Finance, contributing to multiple projects. The company values a people-centric culture, and this role offers the chance to make a significant impact.
The Procurement Manager will be based in London with hybrid and flexible working arrangements. Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will be part of a dedicated procurement team. Key responsibilities include:
* Collaborating with stakeholders across the UK in HR, IT, FM, and Finance to deliver on budget targets.
* Negotiating and influencing suppliers globally to ensure responsible sourcing and strong relationships.
* Reviewing existing contracts for value for money.
* Analyzing data and preparing reports on spending and savings.
* Mentoring and coaching junior team members.
The ideal candidate will have:
* At least 5 years of experience in buying, procurement, or category management, preferably in manufacturing.
* Strong commercial acumen and budget management skills.
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing abilities.
* A proactive, people-oriented approach.
* The ability to operate effectively in complex environments.
